E90 330i 6spd Strange Sporadic rattle over 3000RPMS

So I have noticed a faint sort of "rattle" sound that definitely sounds like its coming from under the hood.
This only happens when the car is under load in 1-6 gears at over 3k RPMs. It is not like a consistent sound, its kinda sporadic and its pretty faint. It will not happen when revving in neutral. Also seems more prominent when it is cold.No performance issues, just that sound.

Any Ideas Guys??

How many miles? Could be the flywheel, exhaust shield - any number of things.

If its high miles, a DMF failure wouldn't be unheard of. I would replace ot with a single mass - they are the same weight, but should last much longer.

It currently sits at 101xxx miles, I havent seen much of anything on the forums resembling my issue, so I guess it very well could be something as simple as a heat shield?
