Remember BAVDOM!

Just wanted to keep the bashing going. I promised I would warn others and defame his name till the day I die. Don't buy anything on any forum from a company called Bavdom or Bavarians Dom or anything similar, especially if it is in Florida. If you come across any individual who fits this profile let me know ASAP.
One day we will find you POS!

I'm sure I would have known where he did business if I had gone to his shop or something. Can't help you out with that right now since I don't know where he conducts his business. However, I will keep my eyes and ears open here locally for those of you in the event that I do get honed in on a location.

The only reason I was able to get mine back was because I have my pay-pal linked to my amex. I got it from American Express.... I cant believe fucking pay-pal wouldn't refund it with the amount of people going at them with the same exact dispute....

Since paypal is a necessary evil in most cases--for future reference, never pay with paypal balance. Anytime you have a paypal balance, put it into your bank account immediately.

If anything happens, you can deal with your bank directly.

Paypal really will not do anything.

E.G.

On this rare occasion, a package (PS3) was lost through UPS. The buyer freaked and filed a paypal claim against me. Too bad for him, the funds were already in my bank account. He won the claim, as the tracking # was in limbo since the package was lost. However, as my paypal account had no funds, he was did not receive a dime.

Now, I could have gotten away scot free. At most I would have had an ic3.gov report filed against me but we all know that it does shit. However, I worked with UPS claims for a month and got the claim money for the buyer and in the end I lost $14 in shipping fees, time wasted on numerous phone calls and faxing but the buyer got a full refund.

Key point - nobody will do shit for your money except yourself unless it is a REALLY nice person.

PayPal is horrible. End of story. Whenever someone gains access to your account, even then they won't refund the money that someone stole from you. Story from experience.

paypal is a POS .. i only use it because its convienent when you have to purchase items via ebay or through private sellers. I deleted all my bank accts and withdraw money from that acct first thing it comes through. I only link it to my capitalone card so I have CC backing if shit happens.

Word? I dropped a $400 deposit on that stupid ass GruppeM rep intake and paypal buyer credit actually REFUNDED THE AMOUNT IN FULL. I called them every damn week though, complaining, bitching, moaning, etc.

Persistence pays in some cases, I guess.
