Average prices for a F90 M5 lease
Just to see I’m not getting ripped off and having a fair price. I’m in the process of starting a lease. My build is DKEU6GJA, and the MSRP on the BMW website is $111,600. The dealer is telling me the following:
MSRP $113,595 Selling Price $113,595 10,000 Miles per year, 36 Months term, $4,000 Total Drive off (includes 1st Payment, DMV, Tax, Registration) ONLY, Lease Loyalty Rebate $3,000 , and Monthly Payment is: $1,495.06 + Tax How is this deal so far? |

Otherwise, is the leasing price that I'm getting on par with the average of everyone else's lease? Do we even know the prices at this point? |

Better deals are to be had in 6 to 9 months when finished cars start sitting on dealer lots instead of dealers selling production slots for confirmed customer builds. |

I think your F10 M5 was also delivered around 7 months after US market launch (which I assume is the date of the US pricing announcement press release), while some of the cars here are scheduled to be delivered less than 4 months from the F90 price announcement. I think those 3 months can make a big difference as the production line would be at full speed and cars would already be delivered to other US customers by the 7th month, relieving initial demand. For the F90 M5, there are no delivered customer cars anywhere in the US right now (no dealer demo/HEA cars delivered either, for that matter), so the pent-up demand is still high. I suspect prices will start dropping as soon as the first customer cars are delivered. |

Not true. When I got my M4, right after order was opened, I paid $500 above EU invoice price.

If there is a dealer offering the car under MSRP at launch, please name it? What happened 3 or 4 years ago is just that, in the past.

Any prediction when dealers may be offering discounts on M5? Cars will be hitting showrooms shortly.
Like some people here, I refuse paying MSRP for a car, something that would translate into $1700 monthly lease payment. I did do this once on wife's Model X and paying $2k+... never again. At the same time, I doubt that we will be seeing 10% discounts we saw on old model. With 4wd more people in the colder climates like me will be considering it, which translates into lighter discounts. I would think that 5-6% may be possible. Question is when? My lease on 550 is ending mid summer. I know I can extend it as long as I have a car on order, but with Chicago weather I would prefer to get a new car during summer and enjoy it more. Other option is to get fully optioned M550 with DHP and pay under $1200/month now as dealers are easily giving out 7-8% discounts plus any incentives. Any advice? |

For comparison, my neighbor just got quoted $1825/month on an $85,000 Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrafoglio. Guila QF lease deals are AWFUL! It's a Great car, but not greater than the new M5, and certainly not worth $700 more per month. Probably indicates that Alfa has so little faith in the longevity of the car that they don't want many of them going out on leases, because they don't want to be stuck with a whole bunch of used ones 24 or 36 months coming back onto their lots down the road. Sooo, call your BMW dealer RIGHT NOW and sign the M5 lease agreeement!

My car has a 129k sticker. Got it at msrp. 10k miles a year, 5k down. $1940 a month.
I did the number on a 130k sticker e63s. It was $2350 a month. AMG leases have always sucked. |

I inquired myself. Credit Score 790+. Got a $1700 estimate on a base QF model. Only way to get it lower is to put down $4299 or $5999 or $6999 (no kidding, that's what the CA suggested). That just means that your lease is really several hundred dollars more a month than your monthly payment. The regular Guilias have great lease deals. The QFs, not so much. Don't believe me, check this out: https://jalopnik.com/suprise-the-alf...ter-1797962629 QUOTE: "The now-expired offer was listed at (brace for it) $1,511 for 24 months with $4,299 due at signing. Like all Giulia leases, this came with an allowance of 10,000 miles of driving per year. Sound simple? Let’s take a closer look. Factoring in both the payment and amount at signing, this equates to an effective cost of $1,690/month. For some perspective, that’s compared to $456/month for the Giulia Ti assuming you qualify for this month’s $2,750 conquest bonus for coming from a competitor."

EXACTLY! The dealers are terrified of getting used 2017 and 2018 QFs back on their lots at the end of 2 or 3 years. Based on the awful early reviews of their electronics, buyers are unlikely to want to buy a used one. New, and with cash, it's a pretty good deal. But not to lease.
Still, I'll take my M3 or a M2, which are known commodities (and have the option of a 6MT), or a new M5 at a LOWER lease rate, any day of the week!
