430i xD GC - CPO or new?
Been driving a Accord for five years now and finally ready to make an upgrade. I am floored by the 430i xD GC. I plan to drive it for at least six to eight years - so most likely going to be financing it. Being my first big upgrade, here's what I am considering:
Do you guys have any suggestions or other recommendations? Thanks. |

If you are truly going to keep it for the full period of time...
Then order one in the exact colour combo with the exact options you want and drive the heck out of it. Over the full period the extra up front costs don’t matter. |

Save cash, go cpo and i believe that means overall longer warranty until end date.

Only time I'd buy new is when the model year has a significant face lift over last years model that you just have to have...like I did with my 2016 Explorer.
Otherwise it's always wise to look for a nicely used CPO and save thousands of dollars. I'm currently lusting over the f32, but the f36 is growing on me for sure.... If you have the color and specs in mind one will show up sooner or later with patience. |

I’d order exactly what you want if you’re keeping it long. If you’re going for a typical configuration consider cpo a 435i but make sure you have a trusted mechanic inspect it. Some track their car putting high wear and tear, some tune their cars and return a mess, while some are babied. Anything is possible.
Forgot to add, I’d skip the 430i. The b46/48 engines are not very good. Poorer performance than the engines it replaced. Go 440i or cpo 435i

It will take time to find a used CPO vehicle which meets all your requirements. It's also very likely that your search will produce an "almost perfect vehicle" with still many unknowns: missing options, tracked / not tracked, tuned / not tuned. If you plan t keep your vehicle for 6 plus years, order it and enjoy the experience with a factory warranty.
