PROcede V3 upgrade....

Simple thread, read the question and answer the poll....

EDIT: Keep in mind V3 will have 14 pin-out extractions, one of which being fuel so if that connection comes loose your car will stall. Just need to clarify so people understand the complexity of installing a V3 wire-in kit.....

PnP upgrade for $375 is extremely reasonable (and totally worth it)

Until they temporarily it back to stock before a trip to the dealership. And then they'll be wishing they got the PnP

A wire-in v3 with map switch is a pretty messy proposition. v1 wasn't a big deal with only 3 looms. v2 was acceptable since it only added in 1 more loom. But v3 now adds in 3 more with one of them being fuel pressure control which is kinda important. I'm not sure how relevant a poll is without anyone knowing exactly what is involved with the v3 update.

It's pretty involving I would assume. I have one already and have no clue where to start. Ill probably just buy the PNP harness anyways.

I cant wait to try it though.

Good call, you guys are gonna love the top end on this tune, it's beastly, and with all the looms it looks like this:

Not relevant at all really, I just figured I would throw up a poll to see the demand of a wire upgrade vs PnP....

And I suspect you had the pre-Doomsday v3 update. Doomsday made it slightly more complicated. No issue if using a PnP harness. But certainly adds complication if you are wiring it in traditionally. For those few who do have the v2 to v3 wire pack update, we will offer a 100% ($50) credit towards the PnP harness.

Shiv is right though, it's a loaded question because someone that is imagining pin out for V1.47 with 6 wires isn't imagining what it will be like doing 14

Im pretty sure it is too.

I dont ever plan on taking my car into get serviced, so fast removal doenst mean much. Reason I wanted V3 in the first place was to make my ECU compartment much saner. No point in having 3 (or 4) different devices hooked up to my ECU is the V3 can do it all (O2 Sims, SLD, JB2 and X Module).

Anyways, Looking at the results Im happy to try it out!

So the real question is when is this going to happen?

I got a hot date with a dyno and hopefully my car can spit out a 4xx whp number.

With catless DPs, an intercooler, and open element intake you should break 400rwhp on pump gas.

If a DP map isnt setup by then just turn your user toque settings up to 93-95% in the 6200-6800 range to reduce the boost taper that is designed for stock DPs.

I hope so. That's always been my goal, 400whp.

Not sure what else I can do, mods wise. Pretty much at the ragged edge.

I can almost guarantee you will hit that number if you do what I said. Now lets get this thread back on topic.

Feel free to PM me if you want...
