Wheel suspension issue

Hi,

I decided with the new update to make a large crawler, a mining craft capable of moving an entire smeltery aross the landscape and handling all basic functions. So, naturally I start with the base and the wheels. I put the wheels on, adjust the suspension to give me more height to clear those annoying hills and trees and-It's still at the lowest possible setting.I've played with every slider, moved every value, added reactors, removed reactors, added blocks, removed blocks.Nothing. No matter what setting I use this sucker uses the least amount of height offset it can.Is this a known bug I missed? Is it a 'just me' thing? Is there a fix?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
