I need help with tires :/

Thanks for opening my thread, I just ordered some 18x9's for my 328i w/ xDrive and am trying to figure out what size tire I should get for them.
I was looking at 255/35R18 but that sounds weird coming from a 225/45R17 from my OEM wheels (I know nothing next to nothing about fitment and stuff).
Can anyone help me out on picking the tire size? haha
I don't want to stretch the tires, I just want the tire to fit nicely and be aesthetically pleasing (I'm looking for summer tires)
Thanks guys (my rims ship out on Monday)

255 Section wheels came on the factory 8.5" sport wheels so 255 on a 9" wheel wouldn't be strange. They won't look stretched either. I would go with a square setup so match front/back with whatever you go with so you can rotate + X-drive. 245/35 Tires would be good, a little lighter but will have a SLIGHT stretch which I went with to help with clearance. See how they look with Michelin PSS:
