Remus axleback installation question

I installed my axle back yesterday and I have a question about the flap. Is it normally open or closed? The instructions didn't really say anything, or I missed it, about how to install the clip for the flap so I guessed and the flap is open when the car is off.

Did you happen to see what position the solenoid switch was in on your stock exhaust when you unplugged it? My guess is it should be in the same position. Typically, the flap is closed during cold start, opens up after about 15-20 seconds. If it doesn't operate in this manner, you might have to go back and fiddle with it. Or you can do what I did, and keep it unplugged in the open position, mask off the plug with some electrical tape to protect it from the elements, and seat it back in the socket so it doesn't dangle. It's a great sounding exhaust, shame to shut one side down at any time, imo.

I think it's working just fine. I took it out earlier and drove in comfort mode and I noticed it was closed after I stopped.
