since BMW is getting more and more sensitive about mods, how about something not as 'serious' as chipping? btw...does the BOV really do anything in terms of peformance? tks.

performance, no difference. Just sound appeal pretty much. As far as warranty goes...it would only be an issue if something goes wrong with your car. They cant just void your warranty if nothing is wrong with the car and they just see it there. They may take a note of it but i would advise taking it out if you ever take it in for repairs or service work. Better safe then sorry. It really depends on the dealership also.

It shouldn't. But that's not saying it wouldn't.

If you must get BOV's.....take them out before going into service just to play it 100% safe.

BOV will void your turbo warranty...just take it out before bringing the car in...takes 20 minutes
