Engine Fan noise!!!

2011 bmw 335i xdrive. Ive noticed that my fan in the engine bay keeps going on and off after like 20-30 mins driving. I never noticed this noise before and wondering if anyone has come across this? Pls let me know what its all about.

water pump dying, that's all.

Yep, failing water pump is the likely culprit. Same thing happened to me a couple years ago:
