Would Carman (OBD-II analyzer) feats work with our cars?
Overview Carman is the first OBD-II analyzer for Maemo platform. You are wondering why your car's Check Engine Light is on. Carman will help you answer that. Features Monitor live data Continuous monitors sensors data (e.g. Engine RPM, Calculated Load Value, Vehicle Speed, Coolant Temperature, and many others). Check Trouble Codes See the recorded trouble codes and understand why the Check Engine Light is on. Two Views A Hildon based view for the hobbyist mechanics and a SDL based (Rich) view for the customization lovers. Easy Customization Some of the Carman modules (e.g. Sensors, Rich View Screens) can be easily customized by changing an XML file. Data recording Sensors data can be recorded in a text file and "played" later. Performance Monitor See how long your car takes to go from 0 to 100 km/h. Bluetooth wireless communication Carman communicates with the OBD-II bus scan using Bluetooth. I had the Nokia N800 before and stupidly lost it. So I'd was planning/debating if I should get the latest N series, the N810, or a nettablet instead (10' or less laptop) I am needing some gadget to play around, so I went to their forum and found out this. If it can do all do everything it says it does with our cars, I am definitely getting it. I am not sure if is possible to read all that info from our cars ODB port. Hope it does... Thanks in Advance.

This functionality is normal for OBDII Scanners. The program should be able to deal with the enhanced 335i codes. It must support CAN ( 6 x ) communication. You should ask.

That'll be a bomb.
I am going to ask the developers...
