Rear window heating elements

Hi,

I noticed in my car that the rear window heating elements are discoloured in some places and the lines look thicker in some areas.

That photo shows whiter discolouration... not the thicker lines.
I compared to a car at dealer... and mine was a lot worse.
Haven’t had a cold day to check if they work normally.

I don’t mind the ‘faulty’ appearance as long as it doesn’t cause early failures of the element. The sales guy suggested I mention it at the first service.

Anyone else see anything similar ?

The discoloration is likely from whatever product they used to clean the rear glass when they prepped it. We won’t have ours for a week or two, but I will let you know if we see the same...
