M-sport trim around wheel wells -- plastic?

Hi everybody. I'm shopping for an X30i.

It looks like the trim around the wheel wells is black plastic for the X-line and Luxury trims, but body-color for the M-sport trim.

I presume it is still plastic, just painted to match the body?

Thanks in advance!!

It's a different plastic (my understanding) but yes. For me, it's the reason I would go with the M sport package. That black plastic is ugly IMO. Makes the wheel wells look large.
