Sapphire Black #475 vs Jet Black #668 for Diffuser and Front Lip

Looks like Ikon Motorsports is the seller to go to for decent fitting diffuser and front lip. It looks like they used to sell the Jet Back (Paint Code #668) for their parts, but now it's only Sapphire Black (paint code #475).

Think you would even notice the difference? Seems they are sooo close, and these would be so low on the car it may not even be noticeable.

you will definitely notice if you look closely. BSM not only has a pearl effect that Jet Black doesn't, but Jet Black also seems to be a deeper, darker black than BSM. you could probably pull it off, but you will be able to notice it if you pay attention. here is a picture of the two side by side, decide for yourself: BSM on left, Jet Black on right.

BSM looks nothing like Jet Black in the sun. BSM almost looks like a dark silver metallic in the sun with it's flake.

Unless you live in an overcast area 24x7, it will be very easy to notice it being mismatched.

People put M Performance black kidney grills on their BSM cars and no one really say anything, as the other grills below are black. Reversing that, I suspect it would look strange with BSM on a Jet Black Car.

Of course, some of use had the M Performance Kidney Grill frame painted BSM to match the car color.

I may try the sapphire black and see. My car is not black, it's Estoril Blue 2, so really the only pieces Im concerned about matching are the kidneys, and the side mirror covers, and the gloss window surrounds.

I doubt you will even be able to tell...

Ikon will probably work with you if you just ask for Jet Black. BSM will look off.

I have an estoril blue with matte lip, side skirt extensions and diffuser with gloss black grills, Mirrors, and trim. Looks fine. I like the idea of bsm for your lip. Even carbon black could be cool. I was thinking of having my roof painted bsm or carbon black metallic so it'd have the metallic flake in it to look more elegant than just gloss black. I say go for it
