Squeaking breaks

Had my X3 M40i for about 2 months now. The brakes have been squealing a bit while coming to a stop. It's inconsistent, but has happened in mostly dry conditions. I say it happens about 10-20% of the time. Anyone else have this issue? I plan on getting to my dealer soon, if I can ever find the time!

A full five months in with our X3 M40i, Dillinger, and that hasn't been an issue for us. Other than the recall (appt pending as waiting for a loaner to become available), actually no issues at all (knocking on wood).

Brake squealing before stop is perfectly fine and normal. You can little reduce that if you time to time wash brake disks with water hose to remove brake dust and everything gonna be ok.

Enjoy in this informative video:

Welcome to owning the sport brakes, on my F30 335i M-Sport I had the brake upgrade and it became part of the ownership experience.

My good friend has and M6 with the massive brake upgrade and when he comes to a stop is sounds like a train.

Just part of the deal.
