Boost Leak F30 335i
Installed my JB4 Connect tonight and was able to monitor my boost. The JB4 connect was easy to install and the gauge read outs look great on my 7 inch Samsung tablet.
Anyway, I was getting about 11psi on map 2 and 12.5 psi on map 5. I expected to be making more boost and I am worried I have a leak. Current mods are Burger Tuning Intake, Catless DP, Charge pipe. I was running 93 octane. Is this the boost I should expect or do I have an issue? |

Get some logs and send to Terry at BMS. You'll get some help here, but that will yield the best results.

Datalog and send the results to Burger Tuning
Also double check charge pipe and intercooler for any leaks

On map 5 I’ve been getting the same results as well.. however in map 2, I’ve seen higher boost readings 14-15psi, and occasionally 18-19psi..
Map2 - 13-15psi (sometimes 18-19psi) Map5 - 11-13psi Mods: AFE Cold air intake, catless DP, MPE Exhaust, Charge Pipe, VRSF intercooler 2013 PWG model 91octane California gas |

More boost doesn't always mean more power. Map 2 spikes a lot, and makes very little timing advance, map5 may feel worse, but in most cases it's smoother power overall.. Just my $.02

What do your logs show in terms of actual boost and boost target? Are they close to eachother? Within 1.5 PSI, give or take a bit. If so, there's no boost leak and something else might be going on (fuel quality maybe?)
Your on Map 5 which is JB4's self adjusting map, meaning I think it accounts for things like atmospheric conditions, IAT, other parameters I don't know, etc. Check out my blog link here: http://*************/letslog/#boost See if that helps at all. Post up a link to your log on datazap.me
