Engine Fan Goes on and off often

Question I had a problem with the fan staying stuck at high. I took it in and had water pump replaced and thermostat. I haven't had the car a year as I purchased it used but should the fan go off and on so frequently with the AC? I notice it doesn't go on as often when the AC is off. Maybe I'm just paranoid lol since the water pump was replaced. I live in Miami

I have 328 2011 Coupe Sports Pkg. Thanks for any input.

Ill double check the coolant and the coolant level seems fine. The stick floats out above min.

It will cycle more with the AC. Sounds normal.

If it sounds like a jet engine all the time then there’s an issue, but you are in FL where it’s going to be on more than the average fan.

It may cycle more, but even in hot weather it should not come on at full blast.

If it sounds like you have a jet engine running, it is likely at 100% indicating something is still wrong.

This is Thermostat related. Consider Water pump replace as well to avoid repeat work.
I changed mine last summer.

Scan with ISTA/D to see any "pending" codes. If you have none, then everything is under normal operation...otherwise if you get codes, it may be for the t-stat or water pump.

Oddly this only happens when the AC is turned on and goes the sound subsides for a few minutes at times but comes on.. Ill pull codes maybe its me being me lol

Water pump and T was replaced 2 months ago by a mech. I am going to call them to check it out again.

Also if i drive for a while it will idle down but once i stop eventually gets loud with AC only on

Took it to the Dealer seems that fan is working fine. I did take it to AC shop and since i just had a new compressor installed a month ago or they drained refrigerant and add a little some oil.
