A few months ago, a local friend of mine retrofitted S55 dual pump to his M135i EWG (on meth and Taiwan-made STG2 turbo). If I recall correctly, that was even 2 weeks earlier than TTFS said they did it.

I advised against dual pumps because a simple upgrade to bigger dual meth nozzle would support his 22~18psi of boost more than well. But there was a totaled M4 and free S55 pumps...Did it anyway for fun.

To control dual pumps, a signal transmitter was used to split DME output. It's a simple solution and the hardware (signal splitter) is so tiny that we put it in the JB4 box. It worked, but the issue is log read wrong FPH value from time to time. Car ran strong but was inconsistent. Been struggling for months, he changed to Port Injection, which isn't perfect either, but acceptable. Now S55 dual pumps are taken off and the full retrofit kit is for sale (see pictures below).

TTFS hasn't really said anything concrete on their S55 pump retrofit other than they did it and wanted to sell. TBH, I doubt DME controling is figured out yet. On the other hand, XDI didn't update on their DI solution either. It appears nobody has made solid fueling progress so far.

Lol....Sean...I don't want to sound like a d**k but if you can't make something work... don't throw other people under the bus! The dual pump setup is proven to work perfectly fine and it's been confirmed by PTF.
TTFS's shop M2 (with the dual pump) trapped 131 on a roll with a stock turbo and everyone got really upset... Here is the link for the dual pump posted by PTF

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bb-G_XNlX0g/

Also TTFS and XDI project with a single pump setup is going to be released this weekend and it's a game changer ! (here is a link to the project: https://www.***********.com/content.php?9262-TTFS-partners-with-XDI-to-develop-dual-upgraded-HPFP-system-for-the-BMW-F87-M2-N55B30T0-(and-possibly-other-BMW-I6-s) from [Admin Notified] website )

It's been installed on a F30 335 N55. See the pics below. The new set up will allow the F30 to become a true beast. TTFS is definitely a level up from anything else out there.

From what I understand, MHD too will offer a tune for the XDI pump setup but you might want to confirm with them.

The dual pump set up uses the oem parts... hence the price.
From what I understand the single pump set up is going to be way more affordable.
Results are coming out on Sunday and they are sick .. really sick

Hi, I wonder what kind of signal transmiter you have used to run second pump. I have stuck with my project, it’s e92 swapped with s55 engine and runing on n55 e series mevd1726 ecu. This is pain in the ass to find something that could solve my last problem before i can tune ir properly

So why does these forums exist? If the person who oroginaly made this thread is still alive I hope that he will share information. Or someone who had the same problem could give an advice how to solve my pain. And this is not that case when someone puts s55 hpfp to n55 engine, i have swapped whole s55 engine and I wan to keep it as it is, I’m not looking for enormous horsepower, just need to make everytihing working

The original guy referenced a 135 which isn't even what we have here. Different chassis and different dme

Get an s55 dme too and make it simple
