JB+ Finding

I decided to purchase the JB+, as I am waiting for the MHD flash. Consider it a cheap and safe tie over. Upon arrival I unscrewed the device and set the "boost" to 85%. In Seattle we have 92 Octane, so I figured this is safe given 100% is safe for 93 octane and 75% is safe for 91.

My initial impression is that the turbo is a little louder and there is some definite power gains in the mid RPM range. Low RPM actually feels a little less responsive oddly enough. I have AWD and can actually feel the tires trying to break traction in 2nd gear if I WOT at 35 MPH.

A couple questions:

-Is it true this device can throw "tuning" codes that will not register a CEL?
-Should I dial the boost back to the default 75%
-What is all this hype about updating the solenoid bypass with jb+?

I'm in Georgia and I've had this tune installed on the maximum setting since 2016 and tbh I don't even bother removing it when I go to a dealer so as far as hidden codes are concerned I'm not that sure. But as far as the types fuel we have mostly 93 here, so I try and use that whenever I can but never had any problems using this on higher settings with 91

The solenoid bypass was something associated with older turbo BMWs equipped with pneumatic wastegates. Your 2015 has a electronic wastegate.

At default setting there should be no codes thrown.. Closer to 100% there is a chance...
