Will M2 Muffler void warranty?

I purchased extended warranty when I bought my car, but I'm interested in swapping the OEM F32 muffler for the M2 one.

Anyone know if this will void my warranty/give me issues if I take it into the shop for exhaust related repairs?

Nothing "voids" your warranty - you may be denied warranty repair for some issue that may be related to whatever aftermarket part you add, but it will not affect the entire warranty. That said, there shouldn't be any issue with using OEM parts, although the M2 muffler might not fit properly. And In 20 years of owning BMWs, I've never had an "exhaust-related" repair and never had any dealer service issues with OEM performance exhaust components or aftermarket components.
