Will M2 Competition really be at Beijing ?
There is no mention of the M2 Competition in BMW’s press materials for the Auto China 2018 show in Beijing released by BMW Group yesterday.
Was there ever an official release from BMW saying that the M2 Competition would be shown first at Bejing - or was it just a rumor that started and blew up on the Internet? Today is the Easter egg date in the pictures that were distributed a few days ago. Hmmmmm... |

The Beijing Motor Show will be the first time the vehicle is shown to the public at a car show, that is a known fact for weeks now.
Perhaps they do not want to talk about a car that is "officially" not shown yet to the world. Be aware they did not include the M8 Gran Coupe concept in the press information of the Geneva Motor Show. MR |

This is quite normal as the BMW M8 Concept Gran Coupe was not officially announced on the initial press release for Geneva, having a full separate release later nor the VisioniDynamics for the IAA. Truly enough BMWs initial China Premieres Concept X4 and Vision Future Luxury were on separate releases after the main release. What I am saying is that these key Premieres warrant separate press releases. But with the M2 Competition you can start to count (over and over) on your fingers it's official release.
