Problem that feels like switching to Sport Mode under Acceleration

My 2015 6spd 335i has a distinct problem. When the car is under load, it feels like the car stutters and then there is a surge in power. It all happens in about half a second. It feels exactly the way it would feel if you switched the car into Sport mod while accelerating in comfort mode. Sometimes when it happens the CEL will come on for a p00bd .

I just put on a jb+ and Injen intake and the problem has become more severe. Now the stutter feels more forceful and abrupt.

I'm thinking about taking the mods off and taking a trip to the dealer, but has anyone experienced this problem?

It is worth noting that the problem occurs whether the mods are on or off.

You were experiencing this problem before JB4 but now worse? Was the vehicle throwing check engine light codes before as well?

The car through the same codes and had the same symptoms. It's just more frequent and severe with the mods.

Definitely take the tune and intake off and bring to dealer. Use the warranty while you still got it man!

Agree have BMW trouble shoot the car in stock form. You mod a problem you only make it worse.

FWIW intakes can cause drive-ability issues. Cars are very sensitive to sensor placement & intake track diameter where the sensor is.
