The car is three weeks old only. Woo noise https://youtu.be/QrvSK5B0IAI from engine, is it normal? Or something wrong with car?

It’s more of a woooooooooooooo sound.
Mine does not make that sound.

Can you only hear it when the bonnet is open?

I listened to your video and I can't tell if it sounds different than mine. If you don't feel comfortable with the sound and go get it checked.

If audio is switched off and engine is in idle, can hear very soft wo sound in front seat.

I'm not sure other X3 30i has same sound or not. But I checked with dealer, they don't have this type of issue before (of cos this car is relatively new model). And they said they will need to dismantle engine and gear to check. Not sure it is a right thing do.

Now they updated me that it is from Valve Cover. They need to change the head cover. It looks like manufacturing fault.
