E90 Back Lights

Where do I get and how much are those nice back lights, you all had at UK5 on your E90s?

If I purchase the lights when I order the car will BMW fit the new back lights when the car arrives free of charge? Or am I better fitting them myself after I have took the car home?

Hi Porscha...

If your reffering to the blackline lights, I got mine from Germany via Ebay, around £120 to £150 ish...shop around, and really easy to fit 20 mins top Worth every penny, keep your old lights and sell the black lines when you sell your car in the future

Get the dealer to include in the purchase price of the car. Car sales are down this year. Could be used as a deal clincher if negotiated well.

Or you can pay BMW parts 165 quid plus fitting

Don't I just know it?!

Could be I suppose though I don't want to pay stupid amounts for fitting!

It's (apparently) a simple job to do. But if you are ordering the car then get them to at least fit for free (if not discount as well) when they are doing the PDI. That's what I did.

Just make sure you get the old lights to sell / store.

eBay it probably will be, shouldn't take me long to fit, do a lot of my own work on cars! Though probs won't get much done on the E90 part from a few cosmetic bits like these lights!

Want the little boot spoiler too!!

All my cars end up as projects, no doubt the E90 will too, little lights, a spoiler and a little diesel tuning .........

'coodem' - have a look at this link for a before & after (must admit, I'm with you, struggling to see the difference - indicators are clear instead of coloured; is that it??)

'porshca' - whilst looking for a before & after shot I found these instructions - might help.
