Wrap the F90?
Still trying to decide on whether to pull the trigger on a black on black F90 at a dealer near me offering a pretty solid deal on it.
I really like the Bluestone metallic (dark grey). Considering going back and trying to get the dealer to sweeten this deal even more, and then consider just wrapping the car in the color I want. Anyone have any experience with wraps? Wrapping a leased vehicle? I park in a garage at home, drive only about 8 miles to work without much traffic, and park in a garage at my office too, so my cars get minimal sun exposure. Also very little rain exposure, as we live in So Cal. |

Which dealer is this if you don't mind me asking? I'm in SoCal myself
Wrapping is not bad if you're willing to spend the extra 3-4 grand on just the color but it does give you the option to be more unique. I started wrapping a few of my cars and I don't regret it so far. I picked up a new E63s in diamond white and I'm considering wrapping it nardo grey

I think there is no point in wrapping a leased vehicle. You will never get the value back.
If you are buying, then wrap the front end and rocker panels. |

How long have you had your cars wrapped for? No peeling or discoloration or anything like that? Any issues with washing the cars? Any experience with Wrap Bullys? They're quoting $2100 to wrap the M5 (maybe it's a little less since I don't want the roof done?) |

Wrap Bully's is actually where I get all my wraps done Lol they hook me up
2100 is a solid price for that car and the quality of work they do It has been a few months so far and I have yet to see any issues. The car was alien green before and now no one would be able to tell after their work That's with my old E43, fashion grey is the color.

Ive got a fleet of 78 Chevy Sonics, 2500 vans and box trucks all wrapped. Each car cost close to $2800. Out of all of them, Ive had a few (less than 3) need vinyl redone. We chose orange so theyd really get noticed and they do.
To go through the trouble of wrapping with the cost and all, it seems youd want a frozen color or something really special to take full advantage of the investment. Make sure you check their work beforehand though as sometimes you can or could see the old paint color in door jams or other hidden spots thatll upset you later as you get one chance to really do it if you know what I mean. |
