Supersprint F90 M5 Downpipes/Headers

I’ve been on the prowl for some performance upgrades, and I stumbled upon this: https://www.supersprint.com/ww-en/ne...v8-600-hp.aspx

Any thoughts on this setup?

HFC downpipes would be cool but I want to hear them first.

Looks like the same headers they offer for the F10. I don't believe many people ordered them either.

Good find! I agree hearing it first is a must however. I love how quiet it is now, however the car is such a sleeper I constantly have people getting in front of me in this car as they believe me to be a respecrable family man in this car.

The feeling driving around with an aggresive exhaust note and the added performance that comes with it help show the cars true character, but Id prefer it be somewhat quiet when not pushing it hard. Hard to do sometimes.

I would like to see what the factory headers look like. Or even run a flow test through both. Hard to spend that much $ without some data.

Still the same part carried over from the F10. This crossbank manifold is the reason this engine sounds so weird, I really thought they would redesign it a touch. What I would really like to see is the data on what is actually gained in terms of power/throttle response/lag/flow/whatever versus doing a traditional turbo manifold. I realize it's done so the exhuast pulses all make for even exahust gas flow but is it worth the loss in sound and emotion? I guess if it sounded the exact same as a M550i people would take issue?
