I would like to know some of views on preferred/ideal gas type for 2018 BMW X3. Would you prefer premium gas all the time or can we run with Plus gas with no negative impact. Just wondering what people has been applying on their vehicle and their experience.

Only took delivery of I've my X3 xDrive30i on March 29. Used Costco 93 Octane for each fill so far. It's a Top Tier gasoline and works for me. I won't go lower than 91. Note Costco fuel does contain ethanol.

I've only used 93 at BP and Costco as well. I'll only use a Top Tier, but so far these are the only two I've used with this car. BMW advises nothing lower than 91, but to be honest - I almost never see 91 around here... It's almost always 87, 89, 93. I think Shell has 91? Not sure.. They have that V-Power that seems to cost like $10/gallon. (sarcasm)
