When Bmw finally gives M2C

some proper M mirrors;
a more desired and M car only engine;
an optional bigger brakes with 6 pots up front/4 pots in rear;
an optional M seats from M4 CS other;

But no carbon fiber roof?

Can they just simply make it as an optional item so we can at least get it at our expense

Even a family saloon F90 M5 has cf roof today but M2C still not get the apple.

I know we have supports from aftermarket but to me it's more aesthetic to get it from factory.

I guess there still has to be some things to distance it from the top of the range M4?

Luckily I prefer not having a carbon roof for passenger vehicles -- I'd rather reserve it for a super car.

Now, I'd really like to have a power dome for looks. Would be excited to purchase that only if it's offered by BMW.

At the end of the day, if you want the CF roof, a highly coveted "part," then BMW wants you to step up to the M4. Selling more M4s is more important to them than selling M2 Comps.

Keep cost down, reason to buy M4, also leave something to sell on CS/CSL version.

Because they knew that even after they gave everyone ///More like M Mirrors, s55, M Sport seats, different color stitching, M1/2 steering wheel buttons, choice or CF or gloss black interior trim, optional sport brakes etc. people would still complain that the grilles are fugly, the exhaust sounds horrible, it weighs too much, the seats are not all black, the "optional" wheels are shit... so as a huge FU for being ungrateful D holes they said, hey, let's not give it a CF roof and as a kick in the teeth let's no longer offer MG as a color.

I’ll go ahead and say it, carbon roof is a bit of a gimmick. All the real weight savings is from having sunroof delete. It does look cool. I believe the E92 carbon roof was said to save 5kg of weight. Yeah it is at the highest point of the car, but honestly no one one here would notice it in a “blindfolded” test.

Yeah, it's just marketing. The car would be better off if they spent the additional dollars on the suspension or something.
