In this pic, the muffler doesn't look nearly as bad. Must be the angle and the lighting... Would you be able to add the M Performance diffuser as well?

The muffler has been blackened to simulate what it would look like if it were painted. First pic in this thread is the original pic.

Knowing BMW, they're probably saving the black camouflage painted muffle barrel for the M2C LCI.
Essentially pissing off then M2C first adopters..

There won’t be an LCI. Only thing to worry about is more color choices. One LCI per generation.

And they'll bring back Mineral Gray and offer individual colors for MY20. Can't wait.

Weird how there are future owners who are willing to fork over $5k for individual paint and BMW won’t do it.

It's typically $1,950 and an additional 6-8 weeks longer build time. If it were $5k I'd have no interest in it, but at $2k, you got a customer.

They claim that the factory is not equipped for individual color selection, however, Michael Fuxs was able to get his M2 in Austin Yellow..

Money talks... And this dude apparently didn't give a Fux..

Its $5k for any BMW color not on spec sheet. If you want Imola Red, Dakar Yellow, or Santorini Blue, etc...all $5k.

The small selection of BMW individual(priority 1) colors you see on certain models are $1,950. But everything else, aka all the good colors are $5k. The M4 has 4 priority 1 colors, but they all blow. All the individual color M4’s you see...those owners paid $5k.

Now if you want a color never used by BMW, lets say a Ferrari color. They will paint to match for $7k.

Thought we were talking specifically about individual paints. I was unaware you could get additional BMW colors that are not listed for $5k. Sounds like you need to pull a few strings for those.

What? Really? If they did do this, I wonder if they'll let me get Porsche's Chalk color, aka the better HKS

But i don't think they'll do it for the M2C, but, if they did, I'll come over to the darkside.

You are referring to the additional priority 1 colors available for some models. Usually around 4 additional colors. It you want an actual individual paint, it is $5k. Any BMW paint color used in past or present can be had for $5k(just not on the M2).

If you want a M4, M5, etc...in a non-factory BMW color. You just have to pay up. For instance here is a Grigio Telesto M4 (Lamborghini color)

Interesting part is, once someone pays $7k for a color that wasn't in BMW system. It then becomes $5k for anyone that then wants their BMW painted that color.

So it can only be an M4? Sad can't do an M2

Shiet maybe it's time I get an M4, have two eternal rivals in my homestead garage.

Selenite Grey C63S vs Chalk M4

Right? I saw it in person while I was picking a color for my GT4, Jesus it is so good. Especially with black accents or CF accents

Well, M3, M4, M5, M6, on and on.

Something about the 2series factory not being equipped for individual paint.
