In checking with my local BMW dealer, 2019 X4 production was slated to begin in April, but just received word that perhaps that was not the case, and now he is not sure. Has anyone else heard about a change in production start date?

It was a couple of days before end of March. X4 HEA cars are being built now. X4 30i allocations are available but not M40i. If I had to guess then allocations for M40i will be available in June.

I had ordered a 2019 x4 m40i, yesterday I received the order number and build date of the 26th week aka the week of june 25th. I was getting anxious as they thought I would have an order date within 2 weeks and it was just over three. the last x4 took literally two months just to get an allocation. thought we were heading down that same road. so in about two months I should have delivery. it's fully loaded seems to be no production delays as of now.
