Is race chip still a respected company in the BMW segment? I don't mean that as a slight to them, but I haven't heard much about them in a long time. I actually thought they went out of business.

Very respected. Only ISO certed Chip Company that I know. Makes a huge difference on my X5m. Looking forward to their M5 Box.

Many reviews,but in Russian, they are in Moscow located
I have yet to even find any review or video or dyno anywhere of a DME8 car in Russian or whatever language. Please post if you can find anything not from k8 Strasse themselves. B48, b58, n63tu2, s63tu4... anything

20.5 psi (~=1.41 Bar) actually makes a lot of sense. The E63 and E63S has max boost of 1.3 Bar and 1.5 Bar respectively.

So, at 24.46psi (~= 1.69 Bar) of boost, the F90 M5 really should be making more power than the E63S. Considering the 10% larger engine displacement and 12% more max boost pressure.

I wonder under what condition will the boost reach 24.46 psi. If it's normally only peaking at 20.5 psi, perhaps there is more potential to be unlocked by the tuner.

93 octane. I’ve found the Max publisher number to be a DME tuning max number on my X5M. Does not command that high boost number but is tuned for it if reached. M5 might be the same.

Thanks. If this implies that the stock turbocharger has some headroom left, I wonder if the fueling system will be the ultimate limitation.

The problem with fuel was solved last year.several X5M and M5/6 have 1000+Hp without methanol injection and additional systems,fully standard fuel system.at f90, the operating pressure is 350 bar.are other pumps and injectors,but if not enough,same solution

The most problem in S63tu/tu2 is connecting rods..too sick.its same like 750 f01 2008,i hope in f90 something stronger,but didn’t see it yet.
