Because you prefer that hair dryer at full tilt sound, instead? The n20 without active sound sounds pretty awful at WOT.. Makes sense to do this with the 6 cylinder, but the 4 banger. Whats the benefit?

Here's two videos I found (not my car this time) - with a little more A/B back and forth and better sound recording vs mine. Also one car auto - one car manual

I really didn't notice the sound change all that much from mode to mode - perhaps you could look into coding a different engine sound into your car - example would be the last video - just my 2-cents as I'm not the best person to answer this question for a number of reasons
