F30 JB4 not resetting CEL caused by catless dp

Hello guys and thank you in advance for any advice or input..
I have a 2013 F30 335i which i recently updated with the following:
Catless DP, Charge Pipe, and JB4.. recipe for speeding tickets!
The issue that i'm running into is my CEL light is not being reset by the JB4, which was one of the main reason i went with JB4. Another issue that i'm having is that i cannot access the jb4 via the steering wheel

.. I bought the usb cable and i'm able to change the maps and access the jb4 software with my laptop but thats about it.. I downloaded and uploaded the latest software from the N54tech site (
File Type: hex N55_FSERIES_OBDII_PWG_11_T1.hex (75.4 KB, 2482 views)) but no change. When i hold down on the RC button on the steering wheel, nothing happens. More importantly though i can't get rid of that CEL light and I'm due for an inspection

Jb4 no longer reset the cel anymore due to them going carb legal.

If you've updated jb4 will not clear cel anymore. They are trying to be carb legal

You have the obd connector plugged in right?

Ditch that pos jb4 and get the mhd flash. After being fbo running map 5 and having a stock car right next to me drag racing I switched. Now I’m pulling cars on him.

Contact BMS about the steering wheel controls.

As mentioned JB4 will not auto clear downpipe CEL anymore

obd have to be plugged in for steering wheel support

get the bluetooth feature that way you can delete codes via phone app

I wonder if it's possible to load an older firmware that supported auto-clear... (in case you have it saved on your laptop)
