JB4 install help in Alberta

Need some help finding a shop or someone that can install JB4+ or even walk me through it on my incoming X3 M40i. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might have more luck finding a shop that's done it on 3 series

The b58 engine is the same

I'd be happy to help via FaceTime/Skype etc... it is very easy though so don't worry too much about it.

I'm in Calgary if you live here, can walk you through it. Done it on my N55 M235i a bunch of times.

If you have just the JB+ its a two second install.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll reach out once I have the vehicle in a few weeks. I got quoted at a local shop 3 to 4 hours labor and about 2500 all said and done including the JB4. I feel like that's on the expensive side. What do you think?

Yo wtf. 45m labor maybe . My entire setup. Jb4. Metal case. Bluetooth a s labor 1000$ cnd

^^^^ ya thats a high price. I know your nervous with a new vehicle but DO NOT PAY a shop that much. Like others have said it is really just a matter of plugging in a couple of small cables and routing them through a hole in your firewall. Something that could be done in a parking lot of a McDonalds. Save yourself the $ and reach out to someone here. We can easily assist.

Just do it yourself, it is very simple. Take it slow and you'll be fine. Done many jb4 installs over the years and they get easier every time. I can do my m235i install in about 35 minutes now..
