BM3 stage 1 part upgrades

This question has probably been answered somewhere but I'm about to purchase BM3 for my 2013 BMW f30 335i and I was wondering if I should upgrade my intercooler or my charge pipe first before installing the tune. I already purchased new spark plugs but I can't decide between an intercooler or charge pipe. I know the stock charge pipe is prone to breaking but I'm worried also about the increase in heat from an increase in boost.

Definitely the charge pipe is a must. IT will break its on borrowed time. Intercooler is a nice mod but I dont thing its necessary for stage 1. But if you do it just get a down pipe and go with stage 2. Just my opinion.

if you do the charge pipe you might as well do the IC. you have to take the intercooler out to replace the charge pipe. no point in putting the old intercooler back in if you can avoid it.

For sure the charge pipe! That was the very first thing I changed on my car. As for the intercooler if you can afford to upgrade it, I would do it now as well. Im running BM3 Stage 2 with the stock intercooler with no issues.

I didn't have to take the IC out but I'm RWD, x drive may be different I know it uses a different CP.

But I'd just go stage 2, forget stage 1. It's not that much more money really, there are a ton of used down pipes in the exhaust section.
