Finally, finally I have the money and motivation to finish up all these projects for the car. Huge thanks for BPC for the tune and installation of the 3IM, they were able to squeeze me in a busy Thursday afternoon, and I picked up a completely new car (or it feels new) on Friday.

So my first project was the paddle shifter project, I installed the LCI paddle shifters + burger tuning paddle shifter kit + the MFB (which did cost me 165 in addition to all the other costs).
Impression: It does make the car more entertaining and definitely a recommended mod if you have some extra homey for your car.
***Remember, do not close your trunk if your battery is disconnected, you will be locked out

My second project was the installation of a used set of 335i front brakes. I picked it up from someone in the state for $100, spend a entire winter sanding it (it had 100K+ miles on it and deposits after deposits of dirt and rust....) and repainting it. I was originally planning on updating with new rotors/pads, but the condition of the old rotor/pads are not bad, so I just ended up using my old ones.
Impression: definitely an improvement in braking, I would say the first few half-inch of the brake paddle feel is no so different, but once you put your foot past that, it bites a lot harder and the stopping power is improved significantly.

Just last week, I needed to be in RDU area, so I thought to myself "why not get my 3 stage intake manifold out of my storage and have some fun with the car during the summer. Needless to say, I pulled the trigger and had BPC dyno tuned my car for me.

The dyno chart shown below is the performed before and after the 3stage intake manifold + tune. The only thing the car has is a Euro Intake/K&N filter.
AND WOW; I am extremely satisfied by the result. Note the car is a auto, and I was afraid that all the power is going to be eaten up my transmission.... But damn, 224whp and 218.16wtq..... This was beyond my imagination.

Nice upgrades. I too am about to do the 335i brakes. Luckily I have a bead blaster setup and bead blasted the calipers before paint. I couldn’t imagine how much sanding you did! Looks like it was worth it though, breaks look good.

I'm seriously considering driving from Memphis,TN to Raleigh to get BPC to dyno tune my car this fall. I can wrap it into a visit with my sister in Charlotte for my birthday!

You definitely should, its a cheaper if you do it at the BPC facility vs. using a handheld device. Your drive back would be totally awesome!

Can I ask if you have the N52 or N53? I'm looking at doing the manifold conversion however I need to know whether the N52 330I manifold will fit on a N53 325I, or do I have to use a N53 manifold as it is an N53 motor.

Oh and nice car by the way I bet it's the bollocks with that tune!

I have a N52N, I am not sure if it is compatible but here at the form there is a N53 with 3 stage intake manifold (and N53 did have 330i) so I assume there will be some versions of it. But a blast to drive and definitely recommended...

Having accidentally bought a n52 manifold for my n53 I can tell you they're not quite compatible sadly! There's plenty of n53 versions of the manifold though, just have to search a bit harder (I got mine from a German eBay seller).
