Radiator stone damage - Who else has had this?

Seems there is a big thread on babybmw about it. I'm just gathering up a list of people who have had this happen to them, the cost involved and what the outcome was.

If you've had it happen to you please fill in the sheet or post below.

If you know anyone who it has happened to please fill in the sheet or post below.

Seems no coincidence that more 'stone' damage is being caused as roads deteriorate. Much more loose debris about of recent years. (Higher risks to paint and windscreen damage as well).

Not just a BMW issue, users of many marques are having the same problems.

Not new to our current cars, I had a radiator holed by a stone in the time I had my Dolomite Sprint. Same thing open grilles and vents which most cars have.

I note Porsche owners have similar issues and an aftermarket solution for the same reasons.
