Drivetrain Error Message, Intake | Picture
I had my car serviced at the BMW dealership a few weeks ago due to a radiator hose blowing. They replaced and flushed system. I had Drivetrain Error Message and an audible pop (looks like some intake / turbo hose popped off) when I was driving home yesterday. Car drove sporadic in city traffic, almost though it was a trans / clutch issue. Popped the hood when I got home and found this tube popped off. Would this have been touched during the radiator tube and system flush?
Asking the question because I'm debating having roadside deliver it back to the dealer to fix it and make sure they didn't leave anything else half-assembled. Thanks. -NVE |

I just realized I have ramps I forgot I bought them to do something....that I never ended up doing. Found a how to video, I think I'll save the hundreds / hr labor at BMW and do it myself. Hopefully that's the only thing.

It isn't bad to do. The factory one snakes out and can require a little patience, however the new one is two pieces that replaces it, so installation is a breeze. I snagged the VRSF set from Mike at X-PH and couldn't be happier, and if you do an intercooler later, they were almost "too easy" to install into the Wagner Comp intercooler. No fuss, no having to get leverage to install them or sand anything, just a nice smooth install.

Mine was impossible to pull out through the bottom, came out through the top ok though with some patience and like was mentioned, installing the new 2 part is a breeze!

I installed the top portion first, then from under the car connected the bottom portion to the top and connected it to the FMIC.
