I got offered a snow performance meth kit for a good price and I wanna get it but I know most people say jb4 is the way to go to control meth but I mean is it hard to run with bootmod3? Snow performance provides a controller with the kit also but still wondering.

If you are just using meth to bring IATs down and running a bm2 OTS tune, just use the SP controller. If you are going PI and tuning for meth as additional fueling you'll need a custom tune and/or JB4.

I'll be definetly getting a custom tune for it. So if I get a custom do I need the jb4?

Yes as the JB4 has fail-safes built into it to lower boost and ignition timing if your meth injection fails which saves your engine from super knock that could damage your engine. I personally would not run meth as an additional fueling method. It's a bit risky. If I wanted to increase octane and run more fuel I'd upgrade the LPFP to run higher ethanol mixtures and maybe look in port injection. Running meth simply to cool intake air temps on an OTS map is perfectly safe even if your meth setup fails.

Yeah interesting I'll talk back to Cary and see what he says. Don't got enough money for port injection and apparently we can run e50 with a lpfp upgrade

You need to keep an eye on your hpfp with too much E. Upgrading your lpfp doesnt mean anything if the hpfp can't handle it.

That's what I was told for why can't run e50. So I been looking into meth injection for more power instead of adding more E85

Yes, Meth on CP/PI and e85 on just PI are the only options to help not to crash the hpfp.
Im on PS2 with meth @20psi with happy hpfp but on jb4/MHD bef. I was going with Bm3 but then I will have your issue now in how to control meth.

Torqbyte has a cool new F Series OBD plug and play system for their controller. Probably overkill for chargepipe injection, but the system is quite capable.

Ahh that's cool only reason I'm looking into it is because someone is offering me a brand new meth kit for like half off of what he got it for so I wanted to get it but sounds like too much trouble lol

I'd say still get it. Even running an OTS tune you'll see power gains due to improved timing especially during the summer months.

Fuel-it is working on a new charge pipe injection kit. Utilizes factory fuel lines under the hood and an inline adapter to tap into it. They have some info on their Instagram. I'm waiting for more info, but looks promising.

Not sure the benefit over their old TBI kit.
