Sparco S Light CF
Hey,
Given that these cost $2900 a pop this is PURELY a dream. Here's my question. My car is a Black Sapphire E90 335xi (with debadge, and soon with KW V3s and some matte grills) with a Terra Cotta interior and a black carbon fiber trim. Do you think that an E90 would look stupid with two racing seats in the front? If I were to do this (in the hypothetical world where I win a lottery) I would recover them in the same BMW terra leather... And this is not purely cosmetic, I'm getting really involved in the whole Autocross/HPDE thing and the stock seats are just stupid heavy. What do you guys think? -Dave

I like the idea and eventually will be doing the same thing, however it makes no sense to pick uber expensive bucket seats when you plan on tearing them up and rebuilding them anyway. There are less expensive ones to work on.
Also to your question about bucket seats looking weird, the answer is it depends. IMHO it looks stupid to have bucket seats in a stock looking car. Just like when someone puts an aggressive aftermarket front bumper without changing the sides and rear. If you put stock looking aftermarket seats like Sparco Milano's then you're good stock.

I would at least get some that have adjustable backs. I'm assuming this will still be predominantly a street car and you will miss the adjust ability.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with running sport seats in a bmw imo it would look badass and the stock sport seats could honestly be more bucketed. However I think you might find other areas that are more practical to invest in (i.e. engine/suspension modifications) before you start shelling out those kinds of costs for seats alone. Its a good idea those are sexy looking seats

Here's a better idea...
lol, and trust me, this would be the absolute last thing I do to my car (keyword dream), and it'd already have a drop and BBK and enough power to break a horse in half.
