plug-in hybrid

New member, long time lurker. Thanks for all the advice I get from your experiences.

I’m curious if anyone has heard more than rumors about the new plug-in hybrid (not the all electric version). One blog says they spotted a test car in February but there’s been no word since.

I maybe wrong but I thought it had been cancelled in favour of the all electric model or it may have been an assumption by the press early on and was always going to be electric only

I’ve been told that the X3M is due in 2019, and the electric soon after, and the plug in hybrid in late 2020 (possibly MY21).
But that’s not set in stone.

The plug in version was dropped in favor of an all electric version. It could change but it will be good while.

I asked this question a while back and my dealer said no plug in...just all electric late 2109 early 2020.
