Consistent with most other tests. Extremely close race but M5 with very slight edge.

These two are so close, local conditions and drivers will decide a race.

Right now, the M5 has it, but it's the usual game; the newer car becomes the next cars benchmark to beat. Good times

I wish in all these races that the testers would have the drivers switch cars. That would be a better indication for me. Truth is both cars are great! I may get the Merc after my BMW M5 purchase.

The e63s actually got the jump in this test, but yeah the two cars are very close with M5 has tiny bit of edge considering most tests have consistent results with couple outliers. Or maybe Merc just unlucky that always get the bad drivers, lol.

I'll probably do the same. I was thinking comp pack next but I may wait for LCI E63S and go that route.

Unfortunately, Ramon's car isn't 100% stock. Would have been nice to see full stock to compare vs his time last year of 11s/17.4s. Looks like by the time the Dmitrov races happen no1 will have stock cars.

Not completely stock but only downpipes with no ECU flash
Also the M5 won against a stage 2 E63S with 750hp too
Also there are more races to come today

CF Splitter and diffuser makes it unfair?

The stock M5 doesn't even have a splitter so that is added weight, unfair advantage for the E63!

He also did 10.9 with his e63s last year with the RL, your point is? So the lighter wider wheels don't make any difference? At Dmitrovka? and we will ignore the catless downpipe mid pipe bollox, and full carbon to go along with the carbon roof. All this probably doesn't make the car 0.1/0.2s faster, what a waste of time and cash
