M2c Future owners modding poll
So those of us who are for sure getting M2c's or have orders placed, are you planning on keeping your new M2c stock? or will it be a car for modifying?
I find most of the appeal in the M2c is its modding potential, what about other prospective owners? |

I'm going to lightly mod it.
Just a tune and probably downpipes. Oh and lower it with springs. Oh oh and ceramic window tint. This is all without doing any S55 research so it's my newb list. |

If i was getting one... tune and downpipes for sure. The rest would go into track brakes and tires

First thing, get some wider better tires, from there:
start by getting the Mperf items I like, (will take some time for those to come out/considering the price I probably wont get them all at once) after that will do a flash tune, DCT tune, Coilovers, exhaust, downpipes, and chargepipes. maybe beef up the cooling/move to alternate fuel. Guess we will see how she drives once we get done with all that. |

It seems that it’ll be easy to quickly modify the car, which is personally my biggest concern since I’ll only have it for a few months. |

so you would take a product designed and built by the best engineers out there and have it modded by a dude coming off a high at a local auto shop?
sorry guys but this just makes no sense. |

I mean you could just flash it with a regular f82 map, or comp map, or CS map. Then it should be the same "tune" as those cars. Though the character of the car may be different because of the size, weight, and suspension.

Number 1 mod will be exhaust. BMW Perf or AA, most likely.
A tasteful set of BMW Performance parts: CF Hood & trunk lid, 763M wheels For my purposes (DD) I don't need more power at the expense of warranty, so I will probably only tune it if it's something I can get from my dealer (BMW or Dinan). Same with suspension. Roads here suck, so for street driving, I don't see needing suspension upgrade. That's about it until I get my hands on the car and see what it wants for.
