Anybody experience delay at the port?
My car has been sit at the halifax autoport for 2 weeks now. Apparently my SA said that it may be due to the software update at the port.
Anybody experiencing the same delay? |

My SA is requesting to have my car transport from Halifax to Toronto directly by truck. Have to see if it’s approved. Just wondering if anyone else experiencing same delay. Last edited by neohh; 06-02-2018 at 08:36 AM.. |

Did you have any port installed options? Those normaly delay the car about an extra week.

Consider the possibility that your car may have been damaged in transport. In those circumstances, they get held at port for weeks. If i were you, I would ask my dealer for a representation in writing that my car has not been damaged in any way prior to purchase.

Apparently there is a huge backlog at Halifax, and in Canada 3 weeks from Halifax to Toronto seems to be the norm . In another Canada tracking thread there are many M2s stuck at the autoport for nearly a month. There are also some M5s that arrive at the port before mine and still not yet delivered to the dealer.
