Clutch recommendations?

Hey all,

In the market for a new clutch. Looking for as close to stock feel as possible and trying not to break the bank. I don’t ever plan to be anymore than 500 whp so with that being said what do you recommend? I want to retain the stock flywheel and I saw that ACT has some cost effective options- but what specifically to look for when shopping given Im driving a 335is with the mods below (soon to be FMIC and inlets).

*Car is my daily*

Thanks!

You won't want the ACT those tend to not last that long.

Really the Spec 2+ mated to the factory DMFW drives very well, I'd have to suggest going that route.

Yeah I noticed the stage 2+ is only about $60 more than the stage 2 but holds a lot more torque. Like I mentioned I’ll be adding an FMIC and inlets soon. If I ever have to replace the turbos I wouldn’t go with anything too crazy, probably pure S1 or RB’s so I doubt I would ever push too close to that 545tq limit with that. Thoughts?

Stage 2+ is the most widely sold clutch kit we offer and there is a negligible difference in drivability by settling for 2. If you may upgrade your turbos down the road it's worth going to 2+ for sure. They handle a good amount of power and abuse.

Sully, Jeff can't make certain statements. One such is that the 545 wtq rating of the Spec 2+, like all of their ratings, are conservative numeros. Likely very conservative. Get the Spec 2+, along with the appropriate installation hardware, and move on the higher power. It'll take whatever you throw at it short of a psycho single setup. And do get the bypass valve as we both know you know how to clutch your car.
