I plugged in a usb with many songs and imported to music collection. I've checked the box to enable shuffle.

Whether I play from the usb stick or from the imported music it keeps playing one song. When I browse to a folder it only plays songs in that folder.

Any experience on how to get it to shuffle from the entire collection?

I'm not in my car, so I can't experiment - but see if this works. Go to search (the magnifying glass), and then search by song (title). I think it will then show you a list of all the songs you have on the source. You can then scroll up or down the list, or you can just play one song and then it should shuffle the whole collection. Unfortunately I can't tell how accurate I am with this but I'll give it a try when I return to my car. I am pretty sure this should work. If worse comes to worse, then search by genre - choose a genre, and then play a song - and it will shuffle all the songs in that genre.

In any case, it starts with the search function.

I think thats how I did it as well. If you are on random shuffle and a song comes up you want to skip - the only easy way i could find was the skip next button on the right side of the preset buttons. its right by the cd eject (a button i may never use)

Did the ‘search by title’, picked any song and it is now shuffling through all the stored files. Thanks again
