Suggestion for protecting rear bumper/tailgate bottom from dogs getting in and out
Love my 18 X3 but have two golden retrievers and am taking them on trips and dog park daily and rear little shelf on bumper is ok now but I can see it will get scratched at some point with their constant in and out of car.
Is there something I can put down to minimize or eliminate this? |

You have several options, you can apply a good clear vinyl to that area, add a hard bumper protector piece of trim but the best thing in my opinion would be to add the mat that extends over the bumper to help the dog get in and out.

I have this:
https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/9...CenterId=36021 and it works pretty well. The other option would be get a protective film installed on the bumper. |

We also did the 3M protection to my wife's car, it was $75 and is working well.
