New e90 xDrive, new wheels & tires

In a couple weeks I am picking up a new e90 sedan, it currently has :

BMW Wheel Style 285
Size: 8x17 ET 34
Tire: Pirelli 225/45/17 (all season, run flat)

Will keep those for Winter I guess.

For a summer setup I am looking at:

BMW Wheel Style 135
Size: 8x18 ET 47 (front) Tire: Michelin Pilot Sport 225/40/18
Size: 8.5x18 ET 50 (back) Tire: Michelin Pilot Sport 235/40/18

I'm happy keeping the wheels where they are now, I don't need them pushed out to the fenders.

I'm going to need some spacers to make this work, please check my math.

Front will need 13mm spacer to bring outside edge to stock.

Rear will need 10mm spacer to bring outside edge to stock.

If you have any suggestions or see glaring issues, please let me know.

RTFM. I looked in the owners guide, no comments about spacers but it does state what size of tires I need to be running.

On the 17's the car is supposed to be running 225/45 R17, which is what it has.

One of the valid configurations for 18 inch wheels is:

Front: 225/40 R18 88 W
Rear: 255/35 R18 90 W

Since this is an xDrive, I guess the wheels/tire setup must be within 1% or less of each other so I will certainly with their suggested sizing using spacers that will put the outside edge as close to stock as I can get.

Ok you found what tires you meed to run due to x-drive, but the offset on those rims will be the issue. Stock 18" sport rims are something like et 32 in front and 37 in rear. So front would need 15mm spacer and rear a 13mm.
