CarPlay no navi

Is it possible to retrofit CarPlay to stock iDrive (no navi), no wi-fi, no wireless charging version? I heard that it is possible to buy and instal wi-fi antena and code something to enable Apple CarPlay in ConnectedDrive store. Did anyone managed to get it? Car is already ordered and unfortunately adding nearly $3k for navi pro (EU prices suck) isn’t an option for me

P.S. question for stock (analog) instrument cluster owners. Is it possible to choose backlight color for specific driving mode? For example white backlight for comfort mode.

I think it is wireless even if you connect via usb. The real problem is that by default you don’t have an option to purchase CarPaly if you have system without pro navigation.
