Anyone start production yet?
I checked today and my car started production yesterday!
HS Exec 6 speed Blue stitching No moonroof I'm happy but slightly nervous getting one of the first cars. I just hope nothing silly happens like it getting held at Port for a recall/update or a emissions certification hold. Estimated completion date is July 11th, so it seems like they're taking their time on the first ones, extra checks perhaps? Anyway I can't wait.

The M2C production has started two days ago. First up are the worldwide press vehicles, then the dealer demo specs and then the customer cars.
Nothing new to that. We knew it would start around July. MR |

Mine is also a Week 31, which means start of production around Mid-July I'm guessing

Sure hope they don't get the first cars in and then hold them at port or the dealer until some specific "release date". I've heard the official release is in September.... That would royally suck to have your car ready and in the states and sitting somewhere for 2 months.

There is no specific release date as far as I heard...
Mine does not have a slot yet, but we in Europe hardly have slots right now. I am waiting for that right now. I checked the BMW computer on Wednesday and mine was in there but not allocated. MR |
